Provincial Education Minister of Balochistan, Mr. Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind held a meeting with Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) Country Director, Mr. Harun Küçükaladağlı, to pay a courtesy call regarding collaboration in Education Sector. Mr. Harun accentuated the importance of this initiative in the educational department as a key element towards national prosperity.
During the meeting, Mr. Harun addressed methods and strategies that TMF team and Education Ministry can adopt towards the advancement of the Educational Sector in Balochistan. Also, he assured the benefits and positive outcomes that TMF can escort in society by working hand-in-hand with the Department of Education.
In course of the discussion, Mr. Harun presented a number of areas and projects that can be undertaken by Pak-Turk Maarif Schools across Pakistan. Moreover, he mentioned the online learning system introduced during the pandemic and briefed about the undergoing construction of a new campus in Multan.
Mr. Minister appreciated the great initiatives and dynamism taken by TMF and assured the support of the Educational Ministry in generating learning opportunities for talented and needy students. His Excellency also added that engagement with the TMF has transpired at a time when the Ministry of Education is undergoing extensive educational projects and consultations.
Further, Mr. Minister addressed that TMF team may also be given the prospect to contribute its efforts towards the girls' education, particularly for students from remote and backward areas, to engender positive changes in society.
