A Closer Connection Between School & Home: TMF Parent PORTAL

Checking a child’s attendance, finding the latest school announcement or booking a meeting should not require several phone calls. This simple idea lies behind the PTMISC Parent Portal, whose rollout is progressing well across our campuses. With the beginning of the 2026-2027 academic year, Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Collegesand International Maarif Schools Islamabad launched the Parent Portal onboarding process on 20 August 2026, gradually introducing families across its campuses to the new platform and its features. The portal gives parents one place to follow the everyday details of school life. Attendance records, class timetables, academic calendars, announcements, meeting appointments, document requests and financial information can now be accessed through each child’s profile. For families with more than one child at Pak-Turk Maarif, the portal makes this even easier. Parents can move between their children’s profiles and see the information relevant to each student without confusion. The most important change, however, is not technical. It is the opportunity for families to become more closely involved in their children’s education. When parents can notice an absence promptly, check an upcoming school activity or arrange a meeting more easily, they are better placed to respond early and work together with teachers.Maarif families are gradually making the portal part of their regular school routine. Our campus teams are also helping parents become familiar with its features and collecting feedback as the rollout continues. At Pak-Turk Maarif, we firmly believe technology cannot replace a meaningful conversation between a parent and a teacher, nor should it. The Parent Portal is intended to make those conversations more informed and useful by keeping routine information clear, current and readily available. For Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges and IMS Islamabad, the Parent Portal is another step towards a closer partnership between school and home: less time spent searching for information and more time devoted to supporting each child’s learning, development and well-being.
