Pak-Turk Maarif’s Art & Craft Festival

Pak-Turk Maarif’s Art & Craft Festival

April 25, 2023

A festival is an occasion of amusement, rejoice, and celebration which encourages social interaction and harmony. Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges organized a very colourful and memorable “Art and Craft Festival” on 20th November 2021 in H-8 Campus, Islamabad. This event was mid-day long and was held within the school building.

The event was attended by people from all walks of life, including families from Islamabad and Rawalpindi, schoolchildren, and dignitaries from the city administration. The grand festival commenced with the arrival of 3 honourable Chief Guests namely Zahid Rafiq (General Secretary Islamabad Estate Agents Association), Atif Khan (Senior Minister IT, Science & Technology, Food. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), and Jamal Shah (Sculptor, Actor and a culture activist). In the festival all the students and teachers take part actively, there were many fun games and rides, food and drink from both Pakistan and Turkey, bounce house and face painting. The enthusiasm of students was quite visible in their paintings.

By introducing arts and crafts to the kids and involving them in such activities, you will invest in building their cognitive, physical, and social development like enhancing their self-expression, memory, and visual learning, sharpening skills of decision making, developing fine motor skills, and boosting confidence. These festivals encourage the students to boost their academic performance as well.

Students and their parents really appreciated the efforts of Pak-Turk Maarif for hosting such an incredible festival in such a well-organized manner. They stated that COVID-19 made everyone’s life a bit dull, but this festival was like a fresh breeze.
