Pak-Turk Maarif Resumes Blending Learning and Classes Across its Campuses in Pakistan

Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges formally welcomes its students on its campuses with a blending education approach across the Pakistan after a long break of almost six months. Students joined their classes both for face to face learning in classrooms and, they are going for online education on alternative days. Full-fledged Covid-19 safety measures have been ensured in all properties to keep the students safe from Covid-19. Necessary hand sensitization and hand washing facilities have been provided in all the campuses and schools corridors and the schools and colleges properties are regularly disinfected. Trained staff and volunteers are assigned duties on daily basis at prominent places to ensures covid-19 safety measures and maintain social distancing among the students.

The blending learning approach has come out as wonderful product of the new normal and students are making a very encouraging transition from the entirely online learning education to the blended learning approach. One group of students is attending the classes in the building and the other group of students takes advantage of the recorded lectures from the comfort of their homes.

Earlier Pak-Turk Maarif imparted online education to its students in two different phases. In phase one when educational institutions across the globe were started suffering because of massive and prolonged lock down due to the Covid-19 pandemic Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges was one of the institutions that didn’t let the pandemic to halt the education of its students and it promptly and vigorously started asynchronous online education for its students. Phase one online education was based on asynchronous approach in which the institution engaged 187 teachers from Pre-School to higher secondary school and benefited 8845 students through a total number of 566 recorded lessons.

The institution with the successful completion of its first phase of online education opted for the second phase of online education with new experiences, challenges, and lesson learnings. The second phase of online education was based both on synchronous and asynchronous online education. The institution made education possible for each of its student and 10028 students hugely benefited from 2592 recorded and 29,852 online educational sessions and lectures contributed by 752 teachers.

All stakeholders of Pak-Turk Maarif especially parents and students generously appreciated the swift adaptability of Pak-Turk Maarif in the new normal and continued the education of its students without any lose and delay.
