Pak-Turk Maarif Int’l brings you the biggest Math competition in Pakistan. Pak-Turk Maarif is a progressive organization that is bringing innovations and healthy competition for students’ regular academic upbringing. MISMO (Maarif Inter-Schools Math Olympiad) is just one such mind-stimulating Olympiad that is held among the students of all Pakistani private and public schools annually.
MISMO invites the young geniuses to showcase their expertise at standard mathematical calculations and win prize money. It is organized every year on the national level, in which students are tested for mathematical brilliance in their respective academic grades (i.e., grade 5 – grade 8). The first 3 top scorers from each grade are awarded with monetary prizes at national levels. Along with these national acknowledgments, first 15 top scorers from every grade are also awarded at every region (i.e., Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Quetta, Peshawar, Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro and Khairpur).
The last MISMO event was held on 30th Nov, 2019, in which around 16000 students from grades 5-8 had gathered at 44 MISMO centres located in 20 different cities of Pakistan. In a whole, 754 schools participated in this mega event, including 708 private and 46 public schools. A total sum of 4.6 million rupees has been distributed among the top scorers: 40 million at regional level and 0.6 million at national level.
Pak-Turk Maarif has launched an exciting contest for designing MISMO Mascot Design 2022. This contest invites the students in Grades 4,5, 6, 7, and 8 to showcase their unique and unmatched artistic abilities. A mascot is defined as an illustrated character that represents objectives and a mission. The mascot is completely dependent on the message that needs to be shared with the larger community. Students are encouraged to apply with their original art pieces. The mascot will encapsulate both the purpose and importance of the Mathematics Olympiad and integrates fun.
The selected design of MASCOT will represent the Maarif International MISMO all over the country and the winner will be awarded exciting prizes and certificates. The artwork will get recognition in both the brother nations Pakistan and Türkiye.
The last date of submission of the Mismo Mascot is 15th July 2022. The submissions can be made electronically or as a hard copy. We are preparing to receive a steady stream of top-quality artwork from students!!
