Dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and commitment to educational development, Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges recently hosted an International Baccalaureate (IB) workshop in collaboration with IBPAK. This session 'Evidence-Based Reflection for Programme Development Planning' was arranged to equip all IB-affiliated educational institutions with a unified foundation and to reflect on a deeper understanding of student learning and teaching practices within the IB framework.


The IBPAK Professional Development Workshop extended a warm welcome to distinguished guests among which notable attendees were the Chairperson of the IBPAK Association, the General Secretary of the IBPAK Association, and the esteemed guest speaker Mr. Florian Ciprian – a seasoned Senior IB World Schools Manager who delivered a presentation on “Evidence-Based Reflection for Programme Development Planning”.


The event saw significant participation with 14 Heads and Senior Representatives from various schools in both the North and Karachi regions of Pakistan. Additionally, six members of the IBPAK Executive Council were in attendance. A total of 25 participants actively took part in the workshop, with a notable highlight being the introduction of Pak-Turk Maarif International as a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). This underscored the school's unwavering commitment to achieving authorized IB School status. The session also proved to be immensely valuable for all attendees, providing rich content and fostering dynamic collaboration among individuals who came together from various corners of Pakistan.


Through hosting this session, Pak-Turk Maarif International School & Colleges has proved its steadfast commitment to the enhancement of teaching and learning methodologies which reflects a visionary approach, while its emphasis on professional development underscores a commitment to empowering educators and learners alike.
