INSET 02 (In-Service Teachers Training Session)

Adapting to the new teaching methodologies and advancement is the only way forward. To keep up with the latest teaching methodology and trends, Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and College has introduced “INSET - In-Service Teachers Training Session”. The second session of the In-Service Teachers Training Session “INSET 02” was conducted between December 31^st to January 5^th, 2022.

INSET 02 was mainly focused on Preschool Literacy Development, English, and Mathematics teaching from Grade 1 to 8. As advances in technology drive globalization and digital transformation, teachers can help students acquire the necessary skills to succeed in education. This will be only possible when teachers are trained with the latest knowledge. These trainings were conducted under the supervision of the Subject Experts and the attendance of every teacher was made compulsory.

The titles for the training sessions were “Teaching English to Make a Difference”, “Mathematics Teaching and Learning” and “Communication Language and Literacy”. The outcome of this training showed how to locate and minimize the gaps in areas of learning, embedding of new methodologies into the lesson planning of teachers, align assessment with the learning process and create a healthy educational environment for literacy, communication, and language.

Pak-Turk Maarif International strongly believes that teaching is an evolving skill. Teaching and learning go hand in hand which makes it more important to invest immensely in the professional development of educators. We will continue to adapt new trends of education to maintain the international standards for quality education.
