Visit of H.E. Prof. Mustafa Şentop at Pak-Turk Maarif

June 2nd, 2020 – Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges Chak Shahzad Boys Campus, Islamabad has organized an astonishing award ceremony by hosting Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey; H.E. Prof. Mustafa Şentop, Turkish Ambassador in Islamabad; Mr. Mustafa Yurdakul, Member of Parliament/Chairman of Turkey-Pakistan interparliamentary Friendship Group; Ali Şahin, and other prominent members of the parliament.

The event started with the welcome speech of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, Country Representative, Mr. Harun Kucukaladagli, by thanking the honorable guests from Turkey and Pakistan for becoming a part of this award ceremony. He briefed about the role of Pak-Turk Maarif in the education sector of Pakistan. He expressed gratitude towards the Turkish Embassy in Pakistan for conducting a creative writing competition in Urdu and English language among all F.Sc and A-level students of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges across Pakistan.

H.E. Prof. Mustafa Şentop conveyed to the audience that Turkey and Pakistan are the two brother nations. They have always helped each other in hours of need. He recalled the history between both nations and paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. He emphasized that for the two brotherly countries, Turkey and Pakistan, Education holds critical importance not only for their future but also for bringing them closer. He expressed great feelings of respect and love for being in his second home, Pakistan.

Mr. Harun Kucukaladagli and H.E. Prof. Mustafa Şentop exchanged the souvenirs. Students of Pak-Turk Maarif gave performance on the rich culture of Turkey and Pakistan. Attendance of the ceremony greatly appreciated the energetic performance of the students.

H.E. praised the efforts of students who took part in the English and Urdu Creative Writing Competition “Pakistan-Turkey Brotherhood: Past, Present and the Future”. He gave awards to the position holders. He also added that Students are the future of our nations. He was hopeful that the future of both nations is in safe hands. This event was concluded with the group photo of position holders with delegates and other prominent members.
