Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges has always provided opportunities for promoting students’ interest in every field, specially science and research being the demand of the current era.
The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (Regeneron ISEF), a program of Society for Science and the Public is the world’s largest pre-college science competition where students compet e for US $4 million in awards and scholarships. In Pakistan, the program involves over 10,000 students annually. Competitions are initially held at the provincial levels, from where students are shortlisted to participate in the Regeneron ISEF affiliated Shaukat Khanum National Science and Engineering Fair. Every year 3 to 5 projects (5 to 8 students) are selected to participate at the international fair.
We proudly announce that in total 27 students of our institution participated in this fair in total. (9 students from Karachi Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus, 6 from Lahore Asifa Irfan Campus, 6 from Lahore Riwind Boys Campus & 6 from Khairpur Campus). They not only presented their intriguing, captivating and innovative projects but also got recognition.
Total 3 projects have been selected for the final International Round. Two projects from Karachi Gulshan-e-Iqbal campus and one project from Lahore Asifa Irfan campus qualified for the grand Final round that is going to take place in California, USA in May 2020.
The student who will be going to present their project in the final round in California are:
• Yusra Ahmed (Project Name: Thermal Zeolite Heat Exchanger)
• Ayesha Aamir & Fiha Khan (Project Name: To Investigate The Fire Resistant Property of Rice Husk)
• Aleeha Fatima & Zainab Ali (Project Name: Autism Emotion Recognition Application)
