Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges is delighted to announce the launch of an exciting youth exchange initiative, the “Türkiye–Pakistan Intercultural Volunteering Journey”, designed in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye and the Turkish Maarif Foundation.
This bilateral project, developed by our alumni currently studying in Türkiye, aims to strengthen the friendship, cultural understanding, and cooperation between the two brotherly nations. After months of dedicated work, the project has been formally approved by the relevant authorities.
The initiative operates on a reciprocal exchange model where delegations of university and high school students from both countries will visit each other to engage in educational sessions, cultural activities, and institutional visits. The program seeks to:
Promote leadership and civic responsibility among participants.
Foster intercultural awareness and mutual respect.
Build long-term people-to-people connections to further bilateral relations.
As part of this journey, a 16-member Turkish student and staff delegation will visit Pakistan from 17th to 23rd August 2025. Our campuses in Islamabad/Rawalpindi and Lahore are actively preparing to host the group and provide them with a rich experience of Pakistan’s traditions, culture, and hospitality.
In continuation, a Pakistani student and staff delegation will travel to Türkiye from 22nd to 28th September 2025, with visits planned in Istanbul, Bursa, and Eskisehir. This will be a remarkable platform for our students to represent Pakistan, showcase their talents, and build cross-cultural bonds.
Pak-Turk Maarif campuses have been requested to nominate their top-performing Grade 12 students based on strict eligibility criteria, including:
First position/distinction in the most recent external examination (BISE, Cambridge, BTEC).
A valid passport and willingness to travel.
No prior visit to Türkiye.
Commitment to cover return airfare, visa, and insurance expenses, while accommodation, meals, and local transportation will be fully sponsored.
The deadline for nominations is 21st August 2025, after which the Head Office will finalize the student delegation.
This cultural exchange program will empower students to serve as youth ambassadors of Pakistan, broaden their horizons, and gain invaluable international exposure. By fostering understanding and cooperation between Türkiye and Pakistan, the program represents a significant step in strengthening the brotherly ties that unite the two nations.
