March 26th, 2022 - Pak-Turk Maarif H-8 Girls Campus, Islamabad held an appraisable festival of the year “Maarfian Festivista”. The theme of this festival was “Enjoy the Essence of Cultural Amalgamation”. With a variety of customs and traditions, a culture distinctly colours your life. Pakistan and Turkey are coloured with a rich blend of various cultures and traditions, values of which are shared by every person.
Pak-Turk Maarif emphasize the importance of the cultural heritage of both nations and appreciate it through creative festivities. This festival started with the exciting performance of the Pre-school students, their adorable performances stole the show. The chief guest of the occasion, Mr. (name) (details of chief guest) greeted us with his kind presence at the festival. Students from Pre-school till middle section were awarded graduation awards and certificates for showing exceptional academic performances throughout the year.
This festival consisted of many stalls including cultural items, food stalls from both nations, baked goods by students and hand-made accessories by students. There were cultural performances from Pakistan and Turkey along with many other games and activities. Students were dressed up in their cultural attires and enjoyed refreshments and performances from Turkey and Pakistan. Students and parents appreciated the efforts of school for organizing this huge festival.
These festivals aim to build a stronger bond between people of both nations and also create respect for cultural differences. It created an aura of enthusiasm as students could express themselves through various mediums be it art, food or cultural performance. It allowed them to develop soft skills and in the process develop a better understanding of themselves and others.
