Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges proudly participated in the TRT International April 23 Children’s Festival held in Ankara, Türkiye. The event is celebrated every year to mark the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the first Parliament of the Republic of Türkiye, 103 years ago.

TRT International Children’s Day Festival welcomed 24 countries from worldwide to participate in the event, including Pakistan. It was an exceptional sight, from storytelling events to mascot areas and finally the cultural performances of all the countries participating. TRT International Children’s Festival, also known as TRT'de Uluslararası 23 Nisan Çocuk Şenliği was widely covered by Turkish media; TRT 1, Turkish Radio and Television Corporation.

Our students from Chak Shahzad and H-8 Campus participated in the event with their cultural performance, wearing traditional dresses and presenting Pakistani culture in Türkiye. As Pak-Turk Maarif believes in the representation of cultural values, it was an opportunity provided to the students to display the true diversity of Pakistani culture globally. The participants from both campuses were presented with shields of participation in the event by the Director General of TRT; Mehmet Zahid Sobaci.

We take immense pride in the cultural representation of our students on the global stage. Through their awe-inspiring performance, they have celebrated their cultural heritage and nurtured a profound appreciation for the diversity that surrounds us. It is also a reminder that both countries' language of art and culture transcend boundaries and fosters a global bond of unity.
